The Preventing Violence Together Strategy, led by Women’s Health in the South East (WHISE), outlines the collective approach to supporting women and children across Southern Metropolitan Region (SMR) to live a life free from violence. The Strategy was developed by a Steering Committee and driven by a series of Community of Practices (COP). enliven is a signatory to the Strategy and active participant on its Steering Committee and on one of the COPs which focuses on evaluation.
The Strategy acknowledges that the prevention of gender-based violence requires change at many different levels and in many different settings. Everyone has a role to play in preventing violence against women and children, and more importantly everyone has the responsibility!
