Helping our communities find healthy food during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic

 Updated March 2022

Many people are worried about where to find fresh, safe, affordable and healthy food.

The fact sheet below was adapted from the Central West Gippsland Primary Care Partnership Fact sheet, developed in partnership with Food For All Latrobe Valley and Baw Baw Food Movement. The information was converted to plain language by enliven’s Health Literacy services,  and information tailored to our local community and catchment.

The resource, titled Finding Food in Casey, Cardinia and Greater Dandenong, provides valuable information to community members on how to source healthy food during the COVID-19 pandemic and into the future.  Localised information contained in this resource has been provided by the South East Prevention Leadership Group and the South East Food and Nutrition Network. This resource is the fifth version (current as of March 2022), and will be continuously revised as necessary.
