Open Arms can provide individual, couple and family counselling to help improve resilience, mental health and wellbeing for persons currently serving in the Navy, Army or Air force ​​members.
Open Arms offers free face to face confidential counselling for: adjusting to life after deployment, grief and trauma, substance issues and depression, anxiety, and PTSD. The service can also help clients work through family and relationship issues, to build strong and healthy relationships while they are serving.

Eligibility requirement
Service is for a person who is currently or has served in the ADF, their partner or ex-partners who are co-parenting and children All serving ADF members can either self-refer, or current serving members can be referred through their ADF Medical Officer or Defence Psychologist. If self referred it will be treated as confidential if referred by ADF MO or Defence Psychologies a care plan will shared.with your consent. Provide free and confidential counselling and support
