The Monash Health Eating Disorders Unit offers a specialist eating disorder program at the “The Wellness and Recovery Centre” (WRC) which offers a comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatment to individuals affected by any eating disorders.
Four beds for eating disorders are provided at the Dandenong Hospital (and an associated regional Outpatient Eating Disorders Clinic at Monash Medical Centre at Clayton). The Eating Disorders Unit offers specialised assessment and treatment of adults with eating disorders.
The program is staffed by a specialist multidisciplinary team, including Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Dietitians, Family Therapists and Social Workers.
