Location
Advocates are based in Melbourne, Geelong, Bendigo and Dandenong, but assist people across Victoria.
Non-standard operating hours
Monday to Friday 9.30 am – 4.30 pm
Referral Type
Self referral either via telephone 1300 947 820 or an online referral through the online contact form. Reerrals can be made by others as long as consent has been given by the consumer for this to happen.
Eligibility requirement
The criteria for IMHA is that consumers need to be receiving compulsory treatment either in the community or an inpatient setting, or feel at risk of receiving compulsory treatment.
