Red Cross provides mental health support services and programs such as social connectedness and recovering from a mental illness. The services promote the participation of people with a mental illness in the community and support the well-being of young people, programs include; Personal Helpers and Mentors program, Mates – expanding social networks, Bridges – strengthening connections, Housing Support, Practical Support- helping new Mum’s, Carers Respite and various programs for young people.These programs come in the form of home visits, social outings, group activities, peer support and social phone calls.
